About Jonathan

A 20-something year old gamer with a love for the craft and a desire to show others the wonder of tabletop games. I've been in the TTRPG space since I was twelve years old and introduced to it by a friend's sister who ran us through a Changeling: The Lost campaign. Since then I've been a part of multiple pathfinder games from 1 - 20th level alongside GMing my own Spheres of Power, Cyberpunk Red and Lancer games.

How Jonathan runs games

For me, I think roleplay itself comes into the foreground of all adventures. I enjoy getting to know the player's characters and getting them invested within the world. For me, when I hear high-stakes combat I don't think about the world ending or a nation in peril but a friend being kidnapped by bandits or a favorite store being pressured by the baron to give up their land. Those are the battles I look toward and where I feel characters really have to think about who they are and why they fight.

Jonathan's ideal table

I believe a blend of silliness with seriousness fits the table I enjoy running the most. Players that seem to have the most fun at my tables are largely individuals that love role-playing their characters to the fullest. I love cooperative experiences and always seek the same from my players who enjoy uplifting each other in tense moments.
