About me

Hi players! My name is Sean, and I've been a professional GM working in a face-to-face tabletop setting for over a year. It's a hobby I love and have been involved with since AD&D 2nd Edition. (My favourite class was Bard.) I've worked within the industry as a freelance writer, mostly with White Wolf, and have been DMing D&D 5e regularly since 2018. One thing I'm very excited to bring here is to be an Australian Time Zone DM — If you're a fellow Aussie looking for more games, I'm hoping I can give you some more options! (I know, it's rough out here finding games for Australians!) As a professional DM, my belief is that what you're after in a game is what's most important: If you have a setting or an idea for a campaign you'd love a DM to explore, please reach out and let me know. If I can think of a fun way to do it, I'd love to run it for you.

GM Style

It depends upon the game and the players — I think every game is its own thing and the important thing is to not tie yourself to a style but vary it based on what everyone at the group wants. That said, I think my strength as a DM is in creating characters. I do act a lot with silly voices, I try to make characters memorable, and I want players to love and hate my NPCs.
