My favorite system of all Time is

GURPS! One of the first systems I've played I have so many good memories tied to the system that I'm just biased. I've done all sorts of games from post-apoc to straight fantasy.

How Grant Krahling runs games

I always aim for a good 'middleground'. For me, the system influences the story which influences the system. Its a circle! I don't mind getting nitty gritty into the rules when I need to but I also know that being exactly 'rules-right' can be pretty boring and if I don't know a rule, I'll look it up while keeping the game going.

Keeping things moving! I'm always up for a debate on why a rule is the way it is, but I'd prefer we kept that when we're not in the middle of something. When in doubt: make it a roll!
