About Gin
Hello there I go by Gin or Stella, I've been playing ttrpgs since i was 13 and have been a GM for multiple groups of my friends and strangers turned friends. I've played a variety of systems including and not limited too D&D (multiple of its version from players options to 5e), Fabula Ultima, Starfinder, Animon Story, Pathfinder 1 & 2, and more! As a GM one of my main guiding principles that has influenced most of if not all of my games is that my players are story tellers along side me. I want to make the story with the players make sure their characters backstories and actions have real weight in our shared world. I want to include my players to the level they are comfortable with. I very much love over the top and cool moments (rule of cool often helping players have fun!) as well as i love letting players be creative still within the rules but bending them some! I also love letting characters have slow moments or emotional moments to help remind them that their characters live in this world and affect it even with just small actions! I am a genderfluid furry and artist so everyone is welcome at my table.

I became a GM because
When I was younger my friends wanted to play more D&D but our friends dad schedule didn't have enough time to add more. So me and a friend learned how to DM and have been doing it ever since!
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Energetic, Kind, and Eccentric
When I'm not running games I'm...
Doing art and streaming!
How Gin runs games
I'm very much I want my players to get to enjoy their characters and the stories that we can make. So when i GM i like to set up moments so everyone can shine as well as moments that allow people to work together. Sometimes I'm willing to bend a bit of rules (not break just bend) to try for something creative. At the end of the day I want people to laugh, cry, feel tension, and just create a memorable moment. If 3 years later you're still laughing at a moment that happened or remember fondly the character who helped your party then id say I've done what i set out to do as a GM

My games focus on...
The players. My enjoyment comes from making a world as a base or working with a world my players know and love then working along side my players to deliver a greater story than one of us could have told alone.
Rules are...
A great guideline to help keep things flowing, but i like to bend them here and there if it helps with the story and if it helps the players feel more involved or a bit more hyped! Only ever fully breaking a rule if its agreed upon. (sometimes something just getting in the way of fun)
When it comes to voices
I'm not a impressionist. I dont have a large range of voices I do try to give some but i cant promise you a everyone of your important NPCs will sounds 100% different!
Gin's ideal table
At my table you'll find players that love a good amount of story and combat. You'll see people asking to do wild things and working together to build narratives along side me. A lot of my players say that when they are at my table it feels like their are playing an anime really into the chaos I bring about! The vibes while can be super energetic can also be very tense and very somber at times. I have run my players through the gambit of emotions.

I love it when a player
Ask if they can do something weird, or when they do their best to include people at the table in their ideas and are willing to change it to fit in more players! I love when a player isn't afraid to get in deep with their lore and include others in their backgrounds as well!
I think min/maxing...
is fun when it is established from the start. So that way everyone knows and can work to keep the balance between players! If you min/max and didn't tell then Gorbee the green kobold with a love for bees might feel out of place. Also if your min/maxing you better max that background I want story~
My table is not the place for...
Wargaming. Sadly I don't enjoy when a game is combat to get money to get gear to get back to combat. I don't mind a lot of combat in sections but I love roleplay and the story side to focus to much on combat all the time.
