About Angelo
Hi, I'm Gills! Professional writer and host by day, and a Game Master at night. I primarily GM Dungeons and Dragons but dabble into other TTRPGs as well like Mausritter, Skellies, Kids on Brooms, etc. My pillars of play are primarily roleplaying and combat. I'm also a board game nerd as well as a paleontology geek (so if you're really into dinosaurs, I'll make sure you can ride a Therizinosaurus in my games). I've ran these following campaigns for my players before: - Wild Beyond the Witchlight - Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk - Dragon of Icespire Peak - Chains of Asmodeus - Light of Xarexis (A Spelljammer Adventure) - Turn of Fortune's Wheel (A Planescape Adventure) If all of these sound interesting for you, let me know so we can schedule a table for you and your friends!

People are always surprised when I tell them
That I'm in my mid-20s. It's because of the beard.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
funny, creative, and immersive.
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing board games, watching documentaries about dinosaurs, and obsessing over a new hyperfixation.
How Angelo runs games
I'm mostly a roleplay GM that also crafts challenging combat (when persuasion doesn't work). I also love improvisation but primarily runs linear (but not rail-roady) adventures.
Featured Prompts
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Taika Waititi. They're quick-witted and humorous, but deeply emotional when it wants to be.
Rules are...
meant to be broken. But you can't break rules if you don't usually follow them.
When it comes to voices
I love voices! But I tend to circle around three (British, Russian, and Goblin).
Angelo's ideal table
Creative roleplayers who constantly can outwit me.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
makes up a plan that catches me off guard.
I think it's a red flag when players...
treats DND as a videogame because they tend to not care about anything and treats the world as a no-consequence game.
My table is not the place for...
murder hobos, metagamers, and spotlight hoggers.
