About Greg
I first started playing D&D 3.5 in 2010 then purchased my own core books, ran a few one shots and a campaign for some friends. In 2018 I started playing 5e virtually while I was deployed in Afghanistan. A few months later I was back in the DM saddle and running my own games. I have ran a two year long (twice monthly) campaign while working full time with 5 players that each had detailed loot tables, spur of the moment side quests, heartbreaking and tearjerking moments during NPC interactions or PC deaths. Dungeons & Dragons has always been about being somewhere else tackling your wildest fantasies. I enjoy bringing that life to your eyes and putting that fire in your belly.

I became a GM because
reality sucks and I enjoy escaping into fantasy. You can do so much in D&D than in any video game and I will take you there.
My favorite shows/movies are
Always Sunny, What We Do in the Shadows, and Futruama for TV. Big Lebowski, Return of the Jedi, and Idiocracy for moives.
When I'm not running games I'm...
working on my homebrew campaign or playing with my kids.
How Greg runs games
I do a wide variety of voices and impressions. I bend prewritten campaigns into a twisty mess for my players to solve and I enjoy creating balanced homebrew items tailored to each character.
Featured Prompts
I prep by
jamming out and rereading the upcoming session while reciting NPC dialog lines in their own voices.
Rules are...
set in place for a lot of things...but they are more like guidelines...right? What that guy just did was wicked cool, forget the rules.
When it comes to voices
I've got ya covered.
Greg's ideal table
My table has something to offer for every player. I enjoy the on the spot improv side quests to go grab some bark so this lady will give you a slight discount. Roleplay is how I tell my stories.

I love it when a player
surprises me.
I think metagaming...
is lame and breaks the illusion for some.
My table is not the place for...
PvP or if you think the game is unfair. I do not fudge rolls. I do as the dice command.
