About Z Vergun
My name is Z and I love collaborative storytelling! A consummate yarn spinner and yes-and-er, I am a professional writer, storyteller, and Game/Dungeon Master in Los Angeles. My expertise spans over ten years of experience with D&D 5e, though I have run many games within multiple independent systems, and am always eager to try out something new. My slice-of-life modern fantasy podcast, "What Happened in the Malachite Wastes" was even nominated for a CRIT Award for Best Upcoming Podcast after only five episodes! I have been called a “delight to work with” and voted “most likely” to both punch a police horse and convince everyone to help me move for free. I genuinely believe that collaborative storytelling can be one of the best ways we learn, grow, and develop into stronger communities and help us discover things about ourselves we may have never known. How Z Vergun runs games
I tend to be a roleplay-heavy, puzzle-minded kind of GM, and will work hard to make sure that your characters each get to have fun, main-character moments. That doesn't mean we can't have plenty of combat, too! I tailor my campaigns to my players and their interests, but I think people who enjoy telling stories together, diving deep into character arcs, and juicy roleplay moments will enjoy my style the best.
