About Molly

ive been playing dnd for 8 years now. as for GM expirence ive ran a handfull or so of one shots over thoes years, and a 3 year long campaign where we play about once every 3 weeks, we started off inperson but a year ago one of the PCs moved to another state which is when we decided to start playing online using the tale spire VTT to fasilitate our game. I have a great passion for the game, always trying to find new ways of bringing joy to my players.

How Molly runs games

Character centered stories, set in worlds as deeps as you are willing to look. tactical battles set in grand maps that will have your characters on their feet constantly moving. with plenty of down time for your characters to get to know echother and the people around them through roleplay. very flexible on how intense you want this game to be, wether or not you want to use homebrew/homerules and which onse, anominus saftey tools, and a deep discussion at session 0 for what you are looking for in the campaign.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...

I would love to be able say james gun, edgar wright, george lucas, or Hayao Miyazaki, or another amazing director. but for better or for worse i think they would be directed by me. i hope i bring a unique (but inspired by previously mentioned) prospective and run games that only i could run.

crossroads of fate, found family, enimes to lovers, friends to enimes to lovers. genuinly love the idea of people meeting by chance, staying together for a greater good, and along the way having the relationships develope and twist in unique ways that only they could have, given the circumstances

Molly 's ideal table

passionate im known amongst my tables, and friends to have passion for the game and carry that every where i go. from dice and minis, to buying books for insperation for more games, to role play and combat, but most of all the story. i try and put every part of myslf into my games whether im behinde the screen or infront of it. so when it comes to people i sit with at said tables im hoping to find people that carry passion with them, and have the ability to share that with the rest of us.

I love it when a player

engages with the game beyond, i roll to hit the goblin, and can i roll insight. when a player describes their attacks, and a player trys to use the role play to catch an npc in a lie, or sends me a 33 page backstory and wakes me up at 2 am to talk about it (PC at my table did this and i love them)

I think min/maxing...

min/maxing is cool and can be really fun however when players just make a cool and powerfull build and do nothing else at the table but wait for combat i feel bad for them. TTRPGs have so many facets i feel bad for anyone that doesn't at least try to engage with all parts of them.

My table is not the place for...

people that dont care if you dont wnat to write a backstory, or contribute to the group talk outside of game days thats fine, however if you're going to show up late, or not contibute to roleplay and zone out when its not your turn in combat you shoul find a diferent table. please try to YES AAANNDD
