About Valentine
I have been playing D&D for over 18 years across multiple editions, and I’ve been Dming for just as long. I’ve run many adventures for players at my local game store, including both official 5e modules like Ghosts of Saltmarsh and my own homebrew campaigns. I also have over a decade of experience as a math teacher/tutor, which helps me bring patience, clarity, and a love of both teaching and gaming to every table.

I got started GMing...
My journey as a gamemaster started when I turned ten. I had grown up watching my father DM 2nd edition AD&D for his group of friends. For my tenth birthday I asked to DM for the group and my father helped me craft my first homebrew setting. A setting I often still use today, 18 years later!
How Valentine runs games
My GMing style is flexible and adaptable to what my players enjoy most, whether that’s character driven roleplay, tactical combat, or a mix of both. Most of my games try to blend strategic “monster-of-the-week” style encounters with ongoing storylines that unfold over multiple sessions. My focus is on creating an immersive world where everyone can engage, whether through exciting battles or meaningful character moments.
Valentine's ideal table
I like to keep the table relaxed and fun while still trying to give players those big cinematic moments that make TTRPGs so memorable. I welcome both new and veteran players, and I love helping everyone find their own style of play. My goal is to make sure everyone gets to live out the fantasy they imagine and leave each session feeling like they were part of something special. Whether you’re just diving into D&D after falling in love with Baldur’s Gate 3 and characters like Astarion, or you’ve been rolling dice since AD&D and are now exploring 5e, there’s a place for you at my table.
