About Dungeon Maxter
I’m a Dungeon Master who puts players at the heart of every story. My games focus on character choices, meaningful consequences, and a shared narrative built together at the table. I run both official D&D 5e adventures and carefully crafted homebrew content, always adapting the story to the group’s interests and playstyle. Whether you enjoy deep roleplay, tense exploration, or cinematic combat, my goal is to create immersive sessions where your characters truly matter and the world reacts to who they are and what they do.

I got started GMing...
I got started GMing because I love creating stories and adventure worlds to explore together with my players. For me, GMing is a form of artistic expression — a shared creative experience where we build something unique at every table.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
My three systems I’d bring to a desert island would be D&D, Savage Worlds, and Fabula Ultima. D&D was my first love in tabletop gaming, and I still appreciate how well its system supports the simulation of a rich and detailed fantasy world.
My favorite books are
My favorite books include The Baron in the Trees by Italo Calvino for its incredible sense of freedom, The Silmarillion by Tolkien for its deep and carefully crafted worldbuilding, and The Pillars of the Earth and Foundation, because I’m drawn to stories that unfold across generation.
How Dungeon Maxter runs games
My GM style focuses on roleplay and character-driven stories, with player backgrounds and personal arcs woven directly into the campaign. I also enjoy designing tactical combats that are engaging and dynamic, not just simple “tank and spank” encounters. Fights are built to encourage movement, choices, and teamwork, so combat feels meaningful and fun rather than repetitive. Overall, I aim to create a balanced experience where story and gameplay support each other.
Dungeon Maxter's ideal table
At my table, I aim to create strong immersion in the game world. I care about the rules and run them consistently, but I value drama, emotional weight, and cinematic moments even more. I want scenes to feel alive and meaningful, not mechanical. I believe powerful dramatic moments work best when contrasted with lighter, humorous ones. A campaign should breathe — tension, release, intensity, and fun all have their place. The ultimate goal is for everyone to enjoy the journey together. Players who fit well at my table are those who enjoy roleplay, care about their characters, respect the group dynamic, and are open to both serious storytelling and moments of levity. If you like being immersed in the world and contributing to a shared story, you’ll feel right at home.

I love it when a player
I love it when a player uses their creativity to deepen the immersion in the world. When they embrace the idea that their character isn’t defined only by strengths, but also by flaws and vulnerabilities.
I think metagaming...
I believe excessive metagaming can break immersion. In my games, I present the world as the characters experience it: if they’ve never encountered a creature before, I describe what they see rather than naming it, letting players discover and interpret it naturally.
I think min/maxing...
I think min/maxing can be fun for some players, and I respect that approach to character building. However, my sessions are not purely numbers-driven. While mechanical strength matters, there are many decisions, consequences, and narrative moments that can’t be solved through optimization alone.
