About Dungeon Master D
I have been running tabletop RPGs for over 40 years, starting at eight years old and never stopping. I’ve played and Game Mastered every edition of Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, and numerous other systems, with particular mastery in Pathfinder 1e, D&D 3.5, and the d20 ruleset. I am a rules-driven, high-preparation GM. I run tight tables with smooth pacing, high immersion, and meaningful stakes. My games balance strong roleplay with mechanically sound, tactically engaging encounters. I believe the rules matter, preparation matters, and player choices have consequences. My longest campaign ran three years, and I am currently running a deeply developed long-form homebrew campaign online approaching its one-year mark. I have also served as a Game Master for Pathfinder Society in St. Petersburg, Florida, earning organized play recognition during my time there. Professionally, I am an educator, which translates directly into my GM style: clear communication, structured sessions, strong facilitation, and the ability to manage different player personalities while keeping the game moving. I respect my players’ time and expect the same in return. If you’re looking for high adventure, real stakes, consistent rulings, and a GM who shows up prepared every session — you’ll fit in well at my table.

How Dungeon Master D runs games
Over decades behind the screen, I’ve come to define my GM style as the Gaming Trifecta of Power: one-third rules, one-third roleplay, one-third adventure. When those are in balance, the game carries real weight. I run the rules consistently and as written. Structure creates tension. Clear rulings create trust. When the system is respected, success feels earned. Roleplay is not optional at my table. I voice my NPCs, I embody the world, and I expect players to step into their characters as well. Decisions aren’t made from above the sheet — they’re made from inside the character. That’s where immersion lives. Adventure has stakes. Combat is dangerous but fair. I don’t soften consequences, and I don’t invent them arbitrarily either. If you win, you’ll know exactly how you earned it. In my professional life I’m an educator, and that experience translates directly into how I run games: organized sessions, strong facilitation, clear communication, and momentum that never stalls. I respect players’ time and show up prepared every week. Balance. Pressure. Immersion. That’s the standard at my table.

I deal with rules issues by...
We take a moment to look it up and get it right. I ask players to know their own abilities, and I’ll help clarify when needed. We keep it respectful, check the rules, make the call, and move forward together.
I prep by
I prep hard. Long hours, notes layered, maps ready, timelines tracked. I build locations, factions, and motives so the world reacts instead of rails. Multiple paths, contingencies planned—so when you go off-script, it still feels intentional and lived-in.
Rules are...
Rules matter. I run them consistently and fairly so everyone knows where they stand. Clear expectations, real consequences, no hand-waving when it counts. The system has weight, and that’s what makes the victories feel earned.
Dungeon Master D's ideal table
My table is focused, immersive, and story-driven with real stakes. I run a structured game where the rules matter, pacing stays tight, and character choices shape the world long-term. Players who enjoy tactical play, strong roleplay, and showing up prepared will thrive here—respectful, engaged, and ready to build something lasting together.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
If you're into tactical combat, meaningful roleplay, and long-term story arcs where your choices have real consequences, you're going to love my table.
I love it when a player
I love it when a player commits to a bold decision and follows it through—even when it’s risky—and earns the outcome.
I think min/maxing...
I think min/maxing is just knowledgeable use of the rules. The system is like physics—if you understand it, you can push it. Your characters are heroes, not commoners. If you’ve built your character intelligently within the rules, that’s not abuse—that’s competence.
