About me

🧙‍♀️I am a disabled poet who started playing AD&D 2e back in the THAC0 days of the mid 1990s. I quickly progressed from being a player to being a GM due a lack of GMs in the area, but I found that I love being the Game Master, and have run games ever since. I truly enjoy complex storytelling. 🧙‍♀️I have years of experience studying fantasy and sci-fi literature, mythology, and epic poems. In college, I studied Gilgamesh, Paradise Lost, and Beowulf in detail and I often draw on these epic stories when writing our adventures. 🧙‍♀️I am a published mythopoetic poet who combines mythology and technology metaphors to produce an autobiographical poetry thats strives to be generalized into universal experiences. My book of poetry, Spacetime Nirvana, was published in 2022 by Alien Buddha Press.

GM Style

🧞‍♂️I enjoy GMing high role-playing games that also feature deadly tactical combat, wilderness exploration, and downtime. I think a you need a good balance of these elements to have a cool campaign. ⚔️ Combat is essential. It is extremely rare that I will not have combat in a session. 💍 My biggest strength is my overall creativity and the preparation work I put in before the game. I am an over-prepper and generally make more content than is needed for the session. 🧙‍♀️As a fiction writer, I always know what will happen, but with collaborative storytelling, players often do the spontaneous and the unexpected, which allows us to tell dynamic and compelling stories together. 🧛‍♀️ I like to use Rule of Cool strategically to see what happens when players come up with different stuff to try.
