Hi there! I’m a passionate Dungeon Master from Canada who is hoping to run some engaging, story-rich games in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the world of tabletop RPGs, my goal is to create a welcoming, and inclusive experience for everyone at the table. I thrive to make my sessions as immersive and entertaining as possible, with my play style being more story and roleplaying based. I find it incredibly fulfilling. Being a GM allows me to utilize many of my own personal interests and hobbies, and combine them for others to enjoy. It's also the comradery and communal story building that's always unique to each session.

Playing or recording music! I also do some voice acting and writing on the side as well. I also really enjoy making art, whether drawing, sculpting or painting! I thrive on being creative, which is very much part of why I love Dungeons and Dragons.

How DarthTater runs games

Heavy roleplay, each NPC has it's own unique voice and personality. Settings are mostly mapped, with some theatre of the mind.

Humour! Yes, I spelled it the commonwealth way. While sometimes, the tone will be dark, I encourage wit. Laughter is important sometimes.

When it comes to voices

I try my best to make each one unique. Sometimes they can be dark and mysterious, sometimes they sound like they'd fit right in with the Muppets. It usually depends on the tone.

I like to rule that player's only know what their characters know. I can be acceptable in certain scenarios, but I generally discourage it.

I like the one with Pretzels. But also, It's always great to have a variety of characters. I love having tanks and squishies alike in the same game.
