About Crowley

I am in my mid-thirties, father of four, and enjoy both outdoor adventuring and for last four years have thoroughly enjoyed being a DM/GM for in person and live sessions and in last 6 months online. I really only have experience in 5e. so this would be the system I will be using. I enjoy prepping for sessions and doing my best to integrate backstory arcs and other side notes. Running Pbp for those with busy schedules who cannot commit to dedicated blocked hours.

I became a GM because

I enjoy story-telling and bringing people together to escape the world. Love role-playing and collaborating with players to shape their stories.

My favorite books are

I enjoy reading a variety of books, from authors like Tolkien, Herbert, Cornwall, Follett, King, Lambert etc. Preferred fantasy or historical fictions.

How Crowley runs games

Although I follow rules as written, flavour and rule of cool often find use at my table. I am guiding you all through your story. We will shape the settings together through your actions. I am a descriptive writer and always planning, roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzles and more.

Rules are...

Guides to help set boundaries within the world, and keeps things fair and balanced for all players but, at times rule of cool can be used on. Respect for your fellow party.

Crowley's ideal table

Open sense of humour, respect towards others. I am used to running in person and online games ( with voice), but going into PBP because i want to Dnd on days I cant always make it on voice etc. So would like to keep things moving. Expect minimum of a post or two a day from players and I will post frequently. Roleplay will be a bit more open. But though some research it seems combat wise for PBP works best when players run their actions and then enemies run their actions with a summary of the round at the end.

Featured Prompts

My table is not the place for...

Disrespect to others.
