About Daniel
For the past 4 years I have been playing and running games with various groups. There have been a good range of modules, homebrew campaigns, and one shots. With my background in acting, film, and graphic design, I have found fun ways to combine those skills to make my sessions as immersive as possible. My whole life, I have wanted to do nothing more than move people with fascinating stories and tabletop gaming has facilitated offered the most wonderful creative outlet for that desire.

I got started GMing...
Because I want to move people with stories. There is no greater feeling than having a profound impact on someone's emotions through the lens of a good story. The collaborative aspect of TTRPG's heightens that feeling and makes the process that much more rewarding.
My favorite shows/movies are
Pretend this says video games. Okay? Cool! My favorite video game of all time is The Neverhood Chronicles. It is a claymation point and click adventure puzzle game that may have inspired a lot of my wacky, slapstick-style comedy gags. My favorite genre is puzzle, like Myst, The Witness, and Qern.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Podcasting! I know it is cliché, having a D&D podcast is the new version of being a SoundCloud rapper, but I do act in and edit a successful podcast with high end production value and music.
How Daniel runs games
Story reigns supreme. I'm not super big on road encounters, but when I run them, they will be integral to the progression of the plot and the growth of your characters. Weaving the story into every magic item, NPC, and encounter is one of the greatest and most rewarding challenges for me as a game master. This usually means that my random loot tables are catered to your characters, so you don't get a Fochlucan Bandore in a party with no bards. Homebrew is where I like to live. If there is a way we can alter classes, races, and magic items, I am usually open to it. I have the most fun building homebrew modules for my players to explore within specific sections of a world. My games are well balanced between combat, roleplay, and puzzles, but I will prioritize certain aspects of the game depending on the group. Expect a plethora of accents from my characters and a heavy mix of personalities.

My favorite trope is...
THE PROPHECY I love stories with prophecies that either go totally astray or crawl closer and closer to doom.
My games focus on...
CHARACTERS!!! It is my belief that the players and characters are the main catalyst for the story to evolve from. The world, magic items, and events will reflect the actions and desires of the players and their characters.
When it comes to voices
I do a lot of them. I'm not always great at accents, but will do my best to make characters feel distinct from one another.
Daniel's ideal table
Most players will fit well at my table except for hardcore, dark souls type players, perhaps. I like running difficult encounters, but will not be out to get you. I will never fudge dice if you overwhelm my enemies or get badly beaten by them. Chill, whimsical, and theatrical might be the best three words to describe my table's atmosphere. It is my goal to immerse players in the world around them and tug at their curiosity, wherever they go.

I am for a vibe that's...
chill We are playing a game after all, so let's treat it like a Sunday afternoon, chilling with the homies, and not necessarily a TV drama. Fun is the most important thing at my table.
I love it when a player
Roles a nat 20 on their nat 1 roleplay. Nothing is better than a player who can laugh at themselves and describe their own failure in magical ways.
My table is not the place for...
Main character syndrome. Every player character is integral to the plot and deserves equal amounts of limelight. There'll be sessions where you are put on center stage, but please do not interject in EVERY SINGLE SCENE. Sometimes you need to let two other players have their moment.
