About Denn V.
I've been Running games for 9 years, coming up on 10, with a number of long-running campaigns. I wanted to start running games from the start so I could bring forth the wild, creative nonsense that I just knew the medium was capable of.

I became a GM because
"Had to be me. Someone else might've gotten it wrong."
My favorite shows/movies are
The Owl House, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, and Steven Universe (Mostly for Nostalgia reasons :p)
When I'm not running games I'm...
Writing, Worldbuilding, or Procrastinating from the other two.
How Denn V. runs games
My favored style of DM-ing involves working with my group to provide their ideal experience, taking their input to create and modify magical items that fit with visions of their characters and assembling plot threads and story-lines that both the players and the characters can get truly immersed in. Running games with high level characters is something that I've recently gained a great appreciation for, though I won't lie and say that low level play has a key place in my heart. I'm very comfortable with both heavily RP-centered games, as well as more Combat-central campaigns, though my expertiese lies in games that have a relatively equal ratio of both.

I deal with rules issues by...
Making a decision in the moment, and then making an official ruling later on/after for how things will work moving forward.
I prep by
Sitting in my dumb little chair while *The VoicesTM* speak their piece. (Of course my lord, I shall add more goblins to the fortress, as you request~)
When it comes to voices
I try my best. Strange how most of the people in these settings have a very specific range of accents and speaking cadences. ;p

I am for a vibe that's...
able to see the humor, drama, and potential in failures (but also the equal potential for these things in an unexpected success)
I love it when a player
says some cool shit like, "Can I try to do a board trick off the railing with my shield to get advantage on my intimidation check?" Love that. (almost as much as I love when the character either totally beefs it, or shreds a gnarly move so tubular it shines a light on their ancestors in valhalla)
I think metagaming...
Should be exercised with caution, and almost always in the pursuit of uplifting the other people at the table. How would you do that? idk lol, ask me with specific examples.
