About Zeoketsu

I've been playing 5e for quite a while now, and I've been a Dungeon/Game Master pretty much the entire time, and I want to expand my knowledge with different players and have a good time. I also love introducing people to the wonders of Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPG'S and want to share stories and make friends with people from all walks of life.

How Zeoketsu runs games

Roleplay? Love it. COMBAT? INTO IT. Character voices? Yes please. Vanilla rule set/homebrew rules? Im flexible and i love trying to incorporate character backstories if i can. My number one rule is having fun together and creating a story that we'll remember.

I incorporate a simple rule factor. Mechanics → Logic → Rule of Cool. If the rules let you do it let's do it, if it seems possible in real life let's talk about it, and if it's cool ASF lets Roll for it!

I think it's a red flag when players...

Don't communicate on how they're feeling when it comes to the game and group. If you have any issues, lets talk about it and solve any problems sooner rather than later.

I think metagaming...

Is eventually inevitable. The more you play, the more you're going to know what to do in similar situations or if you've read books etc. The only thing I ask is that you don't ruin the experience for others. Also, I'm not worried because ill always keep you on your toes.

I think min/maxing...

It is fine if that's what you're into, if the mechanics let you do it then why not! Just remember if the player does something in game, then the GM can do it too ;p
