About Alexandra
After an awful first experience with DnD, I decided to start running my own games. This was nearly three years ago and I've run hundreds of sessions since then, up to seven times a week. I'm flexible when it comes to time and like to incorporate my players' backstories into the game. I mostly run modules but with homebrew additions and adjustments to make them better suited to the party as a whole and to each individual character. English is my second language but I am proficient in it and have a lot of experience in communication.

My favorite books are
the Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist manga series. I fell in love with this series twelve years ago, and it's yet to leave me. I collected nearly the entire series in Japanese, including some limited edition artwork, collectible cards, and extra content like booklets.
How Alexandra runs games
I love to roleplay and make use of my players' backstories to make their quests and stakes feel personal and to make everyone more engaged in the plot. I love it when players get creative and come up with their own out-of-the-box ideas.

My games focus on...
the player characters. They are the stars of the show, and I will incorporate their backstories, let them shine, and sometimes Rule-of-Cool so they could feel more powerful.
Alexandra's ideal table
My ideal table focuses on roleplay over mechanics. Characters have deep relationships both with the world and each other. Character growth (or corruption) happens naturally and gradually. There are downtime interactions between sessions, secrets whispered only between the DM and players, and so much happening behind the scenes!

I love it when a player
does something unexpected and sends me scrambling to figure out how it would affect the world going forward. You want to take over the cult instead of dismantling it? Why not! You are now the prophet, leading a group of fanatics. Enjoy!
