About Andrew -Goblin GM-
Born to weave tales of danger, triumph, and unforgettable moments, I've embraced the role of Game Master with passion and dedication. With 13+ years of experience running systems like D&D 5e, Tales of the Valiant, Pathfinder 2e, Shadowdark and Goblin Slayer. I specialize in creating epic battles, treacherous dungeon delves, and climactic showdowns against the dreaded BBEG. Fueled by a love for storytelling and an instinct to guide players through their characters’ most memorable journeys, I thrive on bringing worlds to life and helping players forge their legacies at the gaming table. Whether you’re seeking nail-biting tension or laugh-out-loud camaraderie, I ensure every session is a story worth telling. I got started GMing...
after reading the book "Of Dice and Men." This gave me the courage to unlock the forever GM waiting to be unleashed. I've had a blast running games for my friends and family and haven't looked back.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Tales of the Valiant, a better version of D&D 5e. Goblin Slayer, a crunch-moderate 2d6 game simulating the anime. Fallout RPG, another semi-crunchy 2d20 game that turns your game mechanic expectations on it's head.
How Andrew -Goblin GM- runs games
As a GM, I thrive on crafting exciting combat scenarios and immersive exploration that keeps players on the edge of their seats. I enjoy the crunch of tactical gameplay and do my best to make it approachable and fun for everyone at the table, ensuring that all players feel included and engaged. While combat and exploration are my focus, I bring lively character voices and entertaining interactions to cater to roleplayers and add depth to the story. My ultimate goal is to make sure every session is a blast, with a balance of challenges, creativity, and moments that players will remember long after the game ends.

Rules are...
Fallowed closely but modified and adjusted to always have fun at the table. If a suggestion is within reason of the rules, then we'll bend the rules ever so slightly, so you and the table are having loads of fun.
When it comes to voices
I use them all the time to help immerse you into the game. I encourage my players to use voices as well but are not at all required with me.
Andrew -Goblin GM-'s ideal table
My tables are generally fun and exciting. I enjoy using voices, gestures, music, and anything else to help you immerse yourself into the game and story we're crafting together. Just about all players fit well at my table. From the total beginner, guiding you through character creation and understanding your character's abilities, to the veteran players that already know what they want and want to jump into the game. I include house rules cherry picked from other GMs and game systems to help the players have fun where I find deficits int he game.

I think it's a red flag when players...
try to completely imbalance the game by changing every aspect of the game's core mechanics to take out every flaw of their character.
I think min/maxing...
is an excellent challenge for my GMing skills. The more you min/max, the more I can throw at your players to challenge them.
