Hi, I'm Nate! (Aka Cozy) I'm a narrative-focused GM with a passion for storytelling, uplifting moments, and teaching new players. I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition for about three years, and have recently expanded into new systems like Daggerheart and the upcoming Cosmere RPG. As an Enneagram Type 2, supporting and uplifting others is my whole deal. That carries over into my games—I work hard to create an inclusive, low-pressure environment where players of ALL experience levels (especially those who are new or shy) can feel at home. I specialize in Small-Group and One-on-One games where players can really connect and shine. I can't stress enough how much fun One-on-One sessions are! (Seriously, if you haven't tried a one-on-one game, please contact me. They're amazing!) Before we play, I'll host a (FREE) Session 0. It's a casual hangout session where we can get to know each other, and where I can guide us through gameplay tech, character creation, and safety tools (content comfort levels). This way, we can start the game with a shared sense of connection and excitement! Having a rough time and need a game that will leave your heart warm and uplifted? We can do that! Our ADVENTURES: All of my games are beginner-friendly, and rules-light when needed, so don't stress! Rules support the story, but when a dramatic moment calls for it, I’m happy to bend them a bit in service of something truly memorable. I love heartfelt roleplay, meaningful choices, and cinematic moments—whether that’s a daring duel at sunset, a quiet conversation by the campfire, or a dramatic final stand. Beyond that, I'll need YOUR help telling the story! You can expect questions like, "The baron walks into the room, what is... ominous about his outfit? And what exotic pet does he have?" The ARCANIST: My storytelling style leans into wonder, emotion, and collaboration. I love crafting meaningful moments for you and your character, and will do my best to set up those moments. My character voices won't win awards. But I strive to make up for it by creating memorable NPCs and emotional moments. The TABLE: Expect warm vibes, and a curated feeling of connection at our table. I uphold a no-tolerance policy to protect my players and the space we've created.
