About CoggnLLC
Hello I am Trevonne from Coalition of Gamers geeks and nerds. I have been designing games for over 6 years and GM-ing for the last 3 years. I personally love to run pre-made modules as well as make bespoke ones for my players to hopefully enjoy. The current systems that I have ran are D&D 5e and DC20. Both of these games have their own strengths and I have things to run both of them.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Either working in unreal engine ,on one of my games I plan to ship or update, or writing, either information for a world I created or for small one shots or long form modules I have written.
How CoggnLLC runs games
Player safety is the most important. I will do an initial check for themes and scenarios the players would be uncomfortable with and a player can choose to skip something they deem as uncomfortable. I like to create something that uses as many parts of your character sheet as I can. In combat I like to create enemies that adapt to what the players are doing in their best of abilities while having their own threat management. ( My enemies won't typically stand still and attack unless they really want the person standing there dead.) Out of combat I like to have the players use their skills to either gather information do small tasks. I feel this really gives the players the ability to add more depth to their characters and motivations. I prefer the players not to meta game but if that is an issue with the table I like to give them something in world that would allow them to automatically pass on this information to one another. When it comes to difficulty I like to make things on the more difficult side to test the players but I also can adjust things to not be as intense for those who are new to the game. (Don't worry I don't kill players quickly unless it is agreed upon early on.) For player death scenarios I try to let players know (or have them do a check of some sort to see if they realize) if an encounter would be deemed as deadly to them. (If players have asked to specifically hold back I will also respect that of course and create a different scenario for them.)
CoggnLLC's ideal table
Honestly any player that understands and respects other's boundaries and doesn't attempt to goad other player or the game master. I enjoy players that are willing to creatively solve a problem in a way that wasn't intended as well as players who will fight their way out of every scenario.

I love it when a player
Uses their skills and items to solve a problem in a way that I didn't think of.
I think metagaming...
Is fine for one shots but on longer campaigns, especially when other players don't want to give characters information, can quickly break the narrative. If the whole table is ok with it though I prefer to create an in world way they can do that, within reason.
I think min/maxing...
Is really fun and cool as long as it doesn't take away from another player's experience. If only one player is min maxing it can make the game too easy or too difficult for other players since I would have to balance the game with that player in mind.
