About Sud
My name is Sud. I am a 22-year-old entrepreneurship student. I started playing DnD in 8th grade and have been playing since. I have a lot of experience on both sides of the table, but I usually find myself dming. I have played games both in person and online over the course of the last about 8 years now. I have also been an avid homebrew maker for the past few years. I work on a variety of supplements to allow different anime/manga to be played in 5e. I also have some experience with other systems besides 5e, such as pathfinder and mutants and masterminds.

I got started GMing...
I started DMing in 8th grade when my friends and I wanted to get into the hobby. We all had no experience with TTRPGs, so I took the leap to learn how. I am very thankful I did and I have been DMing for that same group for about 8 years now.
My favorite shows/movies are
I love anime. Some of my favorites are Jujutsu Kaisen, Hxh, and One Piece. I also am a big fan of star wars with my favorite movie being Revenge of the Sith.
When I'm not running games I'm...
I am spending time either working, with my GF, or playing videogames.
How Sud runs games
I think my style of DMing allows for both a good mixture of roleplay and combat. I think too much of either can lead to a bad experience, so I always try to mix them. I think it is also very important to role-play during combat. Every combat should have meaning and help build upon the story. I use a very high amount of homebrew in any setting that I create. I believe that this allows for every combat to be interesting as you do not know what is going to come next, regardless of how much knowledge you have of the system. I also heavily enjoy world building and making my players feel a part of the world. I take every character's backstory into account and try to have at least 1 moment where they feel like the main character of the story.
Sud's ideal table
I think my ideal table just cares about the world and their characters. I've DMed for many different kinds of people and I think that the differing personalities can lead to a better experience. The key detail between these players is that they all have cared for their characters. That is the most important thing for me. I want everyone to care so that when I build up a cool moment for them, it means more.
