I enjoy creating worlds for others to enjoy, not just in story, but in details. I like to mix my sessions up into 30/70 of Role-Play and Combat. Some session will be heavy combat focused, while others can be very Role-Play focused, but it's always up to the players and what they think would be best in the situations that they find themselves in. I have been GMing for over 10 years now with a few different campaigns and I find that episodic campaigns are more enjoyable than One-Shots.
