About Matt aka Mathias
I've been playing and GMing for roughly a year. Several of my friends enjoyed ttrpgs when I was growing up, but I never paid them much mind until covid lockdown began and I discovered Critical Role. After years of trying to get my current friend group to play, I finally got a group together, only for our GM to have to leave the group due to work scheduling, leaving me to take over. I have been running games almost every weekend since. I have ran games in D&D 5E(2014) and 5.5E(2024).

I started running games because...
the GM for my friend group had to quit due to work scheduling, and I didn't want our D&D group to fizzle out.
When I'm not running games I'm...
contributing to other people's entertainment in a different way: Professional Wrestling. For the last 14 years I have been a manager/ring announcer/commentator on the local indy scene in the southeastern United States.
How Matt aka Mathias runs games
I try to run games with a good mix of roleplay and combat. I'm most used to helping new players learn to play and get used to role playing. I'm not the best at voices, but I try to make characters distinct.

When it comes to voices
I'm not the best, but I do try to give every character something that feels unique to them, as much as possible.
