About E
I'm a queer and neurodivergent writer, performance artist, and aspiring lawyer. I like to put my years of acting classes to work by giving my NPCs strong personalities and facilitating fast-paced in-character dialogues. I believe that with enough creativity and whimsy in your heart, every game is a role-playing game—just ask anyone who's ever played Monopoly with me.

People are always surprised when I tell them
I used to be a clown back in middle school. I got hired for elementary school carnivals and church events to make balloon animals and paint faces, and would occasionally busk for tips. To be honest, I was pretty mid at it overall, but it got me pocket money.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Writing, usually. That or watching TV... or movies... or reading. Basically 90% of my time is consumed by stories in one form or another.
How E runs games
I try to put more emphasis on roleplay and character building, followed by compelling story, challenging obstacles, and lastly combat (though I can run a blood-pumping battle with the best of them). I like weaving a PC's backstory into the gameplay when I can. I'm very permissive when it comes to crazy ideas—though I won't guarantee they'll always work as planned. I always encourage unique playstyles and creative choices, as long as they're not game breaking, and am very willing to work with players to make their ideas feasible. I can run games with any degree of structure and planning from fully written, detailed modules, to 100% improvised pick-up sessions. I allow PvP only if all involved players consent. For the comfort of all players, I allow only non-explicit sexual content (ie: mentioned, not described), and if your character has a prejudice that makes another player uncomfortable, you will be required to change it—yes, even if it's a prejudice against something that only exists in fiction. It's not fun unless everyone is having fun. I'm open to learning new settings and systems as long as I have enough lead up time to properly prep, including obscure indie RPGs you can't find anyone to run for you, lore-heavy self-written modules for D&D 5e, and a lot in-between. Feel free to reach out and ask. You can find me on Discord @raaorqtpbpdy

I once ran a session...
Where a player character wanted to put on an air guitar concert in order to escape a mental hospital. They put on the greatest air guitar concert any of the orderlies had ever seen! Unfortunately, being really good at air guitar didn't convince anyone they were mentally well.
E's ideal table
At my table players are encouraged to build off of each other's ideas and collaborate as much as possible. When something's not working out, I try to suggest alternatives, or adjustments, rather than shutting down any ideas outright. I love when players come up with creative and unique plans and try my best to allow them to enact those plans within the confines of whatever system we're playing, even though they may not work as intended in the end.

My table is not the place for...
people who play bigoted characters because they can't be bigoted in real life. It's one thing to play a snooty noble, and quite another to play a fantasy white supremacist. Not cool.
