About Michael
Hi there! I’m a lifelong tabletop RPG enthusiast with nearly 20 years of experience as a Game Master. Like many, I got my start with the classic Red Box D&D set back in the late 80s, and my passion for storytelling and immersive game-play has only grown since. After rediscovering the hobby in the mid-2000s, I began running games regularly and have been behind the screen ever since—leading weekly in-person campaigns and now expanding into the online space. Over the past few months, I’ve fully immersed myself in virtual tabletop platforms like Roll20, with plans to expand into Foundry VTT to continue enhancing the player experience. As a full-time GM, my focus is on delivering smooth, high-quality, and memorable sessions. I invest heavily in preparation, system mastery, and storytelling to ensure every game feels engaging and worthwhile. Whether you’re a brand-new player or a seasoned veteran, my goal is to create an environment where you can fully dive into the world, your character, and the adventure. My games emphasize rich narrative, immersive world-building, and meaningful player choice. I enjoy weaving together deep story-lines filled with mystery, puzzles, role-play, and tactical combat to create a balanced and rewarding experience. If you’re looking for a consistent, professional GM who is dedicated to making every session count, you’re in the right place.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be, Pathfinder 2E, which is a new love for me, Shadowrun, because I've always been curious about this one and I like the cyberpunk genre, and something like Mutant Crawl Classics, which also intrigues me.
How Michael runs games
Now I like the rich, immersive worlds, the lore, rich NPCS (I always write in a multitude of my own characters that come in and out of the story-line). I love digging into the religion/deity aspect, the factions, the geography, history, details of cities/towns/villages (and how I can use that information to further enrich the story), for example, even if a campaign book mentions a couple of lines about a character or situation, I feel you could turn that into a session etc. I love laid back, narrative driven, role-playing, with a side of combat in a rich, deep world. I also like having humor at the table. My group laughs a lot and I know if I look around the table and people are smiling and having a good time and the energy is good, then I'm doing my job.

My games focus on...
I run deeply immersive, lore-rich campaigns where the world feels alive. NPCs have motives, factions matter, and even small details can turn into full story arcs. If you enjoy getting lost in a living, breathing setting—not just moving from fight to fight—you’ll feel right at home at my table.
Michael's ideal table
My table is all about having a great time while telling a memorable story together. I keep things laid-back and welcoming—there’s always room for laughs—but I also run deeply immersive, narrative-driven games where the world feels alive and your character truly matters. Players who enjoy rich roleplay, meaningful choices, and exploring a detailed world will fit in perfectly here. I encourage everyone to lean into their character’s personality, goals, and story, while still making space for teamwork and group cohesion. Whether you’re here to live out a specific character fantasy, dive into lore, or just unwind with a consistent group each week, you’ll find a table that balances fun, immersion, and a smooth, well-run experience.
