About Tyler

I have been playing and running TTRPGs since 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic was a time when I desperately needed to find community and a little bit of a reprieve from reality, and I found it by rolling dice with friends. I have the most experience running D&D 5/5.5e and Star Trek Adventures. I started running games shortly after I started playing as a way to meet people in my new community. I was blessed to find players who became friends around the table.

How Tyler runs games

I specialize in inviting new players into the game. While deployed with the Navy in 2024, I started a weekly game for other deployed service members, many of whom had never played before. I remember what it was like to hold a d20 for the first time, and I want to make sure that everyone has the best experience possible. I invite my players to role play as they like, developing their characters in ways that make sense. My sessions are typically lighthearted, full of shenanigans and laughter. I create space to build community and cultivate friendships, because I firmly believe that playing games is better when you know the people you're with.
