About Luke
With nearly a decade of GM experience across multiple systems, I live to craft stories that leave a lasting mark. I am a proud forever-GM and would not have it any other way. My focus is creating worlds that feel alive and truly belong to you, the players. While I run pre-written modules and established settings, homebrew is where I shine. I build rich, digestible worlds that let players shape the story without being boxed in by decades of pre-existing lore or certain tropes. I currently have several homebrew settings ready to explore in D&D 5e (2014), Call of Cthulhu, SW5e, and Kids on Bikes, along with a wide selection of modules. Whether you want something familiar or a world entirely your own, the adventure is ours to create together.

I became a GM because
This is one of the best mediums to craft collaborative stories, and I'm confident in my ability to make it a rewarding experience. Plus, it brings people so much joy. I've been a DM since I first started playing TTRPGs, and I don't see myself ever stopping!
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Dungeons & Dragons 5e (2014), Call of Cthulhu, and SW5e! From heroic fantasies, to mind-bending horror, all the way to adventures beyond the stars, what more would you need on that island? Other than food and water... and maybe a satellite phone.
How Luke runs games
I specialize in flexible, reactive homebrew worlds. There are no pre-set outcomes, just a rich backdrop for the stories we build together. Player choices, backstory, and goals actively shape the world. Roleplay is central: - RP continues even during combat - Combat, strategy, intrigue, and storytelling are intertwined - Encounters can be solved with clever words, cunning tactics, or brute force Meaningful play: - Encounters and scenes with engaging repercussions - Intrigue that can turn friends into rivals, or strangers into allies - Emotional character moments that carry across sessions - Humour and levity sprinkled in, but not poured Have your cake, and eat it too!: - Encounters can be tense, tactical, silly, and poignant, all at once - Exploration, battles, and roleplay effect the world - Your choices and dice rolls shape the story =-=-=-=-= Tools I use to enhance immersion - Curated music playlists - Customized battle and world maps - Access to my D&D 5e (2014) D&D Beyond library Communication and session prep: - Open PMs via StartPlaying or Discord - Free brief 1-on-1 chats to ensure you will enjoy my games - Free Group Session 0 to set expectations and kick things off right My goal is simple - I want your character to feel real, grow, sometimes struggle, and leave a lasting mark on the world while being undeniably badass along the way. Adversity sets the stage; how you choose to face it is your story, and I can't wait to tell it with you!

Rules are...
...the reason we play games. "No fair tennis without a net." Rules give games structure, structure creates stakes, and stakes = story! That being said, sometimes rules MUST be broken! I don't fall into either 'Rules as Written' or 'Rule of Cool' camps; you have to know when it's best employ both.
When it comes to voices
... I will do everything in my power to embody a character. I am by no means a trained voice actor, but I've definitely picked up a few accents and voices along the way, some of which even shock me!
Luke's ideal table
Collaborative, story-driven, and dynamic. Players who enjoy roleplay, tactical encounters, exploration, and creative problem-solving will thrive. The vibe is immersive, with meaningful character choices shaping the adventure side-by-side with our dice. Brave of heart and strong of spirit? You belong at my table.
