About Jacob
I am a friend of the people and a passionate enjoyer of GMing roleplaying games. I have been part of this hobby for eight years, and it has connected me to a diverse range of enjoyable people while teaching me a great deal about storytelling. Something you should know about me is that I am a role-player at heart, I love creative players, and I really enjoy medieval history (with a particular fascination for trebuchets). I value living worlds that react meaningfully to player decisions and take themselves seriously... most of the time :). Achieving a flow state where characters truly come to life is my top goal. If you choose me as your GM, I will ensure that your character and their decisions take center stage alongside the other player characters, while also delivering engaging and fun combat encounters.

I became a GM because
Playing just ain't for me and I haven't found a GM that immerses me as well as I would like.
My favorite shows/movies are
Breaking Bad, Blade Runner 2049, most anything from M. Night Shyamalan, and Star Wars original Saga + Rogue One + Andor
How Jacob runs games
Attributes of my GM style: -Player Focused -Characters/Roleplay -Quality over Quantity Combat -Setting Consistency -A dab of hee hoo funny time My GM style is character focused with a combat once every to every other session. I'm not the best at stories but I really do embrace the characters formed in the game and I strongly emphasize player decisions being impactful and player freedom without fully becoming a sandbox game or ruining the game for others. I have expectations for my players to prioritize the adventure being presented and to have a character with some level of depth. My personal priority is your enjoyment.

Jacob's ideal table
Three to four players that are interested in engaging with the world, characters, and each other. Everyone also thinks I am handsome and cool (lol).
