About Stephen
Based in Chester, UK, I'm a lifelong lover of fantasy and sci-fi and have enjoyed world building and roleplaying games for years, starting with Pathfinder 1e when I was a teenager. I originally fell into being a GM when my group of friends needed one to run a session and have enjoyed it ever since! I love seeing the creativity that people bring to the table and watching players having fun and enjoying themselves.

I ran my first game...
As a one-shot for a group of friends for Halloween, which then turned into a longer homebrew campaign.
I started running games because...
I enjoy the collaborative storytelling experience of TTRPGs and building a world for Players to explore and enjoy themselves in.
How Stephen runs games
I like to provide a balance of roleplaying opportunity and combat in a game, but happy to tailor it to my Players' preferences, so if they would prefer more roleplay and character moments then this would become more of the focus. I believe in the Rule of Cool, and think that creativity should be rewarded! I'll also often ask for rolls on ability checks for some decisions and see where the story goes based on success or failure.
