About Morrangor
I have been GM-ing for 35 years, my first game I DMed was AD&D 2nd edition. I personally believe that TTRPGs are a gift to the world and that they have great therapeutic value for people of all ages. I have run games for adults and teenagers in various settings like after school clubs and neurodiverse populations. This hobby to me is about having fun and sharing a cool creative storytelling experience with a group of people. I have authored several different game supplements for TTRGPs for sale on RPGdrivethru my works are: *British Raj: A Masque of the Red Death Guide to British India. (DMsguild) *The Dragonborn of Kara-tur (DMsguild) *Dark Crusades (Miskatonic Repository) *Agents of Intrigue (DMsguild) *Baldur's Gate Political Intrigue Generator (DMsguild) Co-founder of Do Your Worst Games.

How Morrangor runs games
My philosophy is narrative and story first and crunch and mechanics second. This might create some frustration for players who are optimizers. I like to empower players and reward creativity at the game table. I am a big fan of interesting narratives and improv. I believe that the games are run are not my games but a product of a collective narrative around the game table. My style is RP heavy as well as good mix of pulp style action and combat, heavily inspired by 80's and 90's action movie tropes.

I prep by
reading as much material as possible that deals with the subject of the game. I will also watch movies or tv shows that are in the same genre has the game being run. I will also listen to thematic music like soundtracks or cultural references to a particular game or genre that I am running.
My games focus on...
role-playing and narrative fun. I like to encourage creativity at my table and empower to the players to try some different. My emphasis is on collective storytelling.
Rules are...
a guideline to be followed but also bent if it adds to the overall enjoyment of people's experience. I think structure is important, but I think the narrative and story needs to take center stage to a strict interpretation of the rules. I believe in the spirit of the rules not the letter.
Morrangor's ideal table
Players that like role-playing and a mix of combat. Players that like exploration and intrigue always appreciated.
Featured Prompts
I am for a vibe that's...
narrative first and crunch second. Rules are important to govern reality, but they can be bent sometimes for excitement.
I love it when a player
comes up with a creative idea and something unexpected happens.
My table is not the place for...
for heavy accounting and hyper focusing on pedantic small details.
