About Abigail

I grew up watching my brother and his friends play Dungeons & Dragons, but it wasn't until I went to college, about five years ago, that I was able to find my own table. What started as "This TTRPG Club might be bearable and look decent on a resume" quickly grew into a passion for collaborative storytelling, world-building, and creativity. After a few years of on-and-off playing, I decided to try my hand at DMing and happily discovered I loved it even more than playing. I've been running regular campaigns and community games since. For me, the social side of TTRPGs is just as important as the gameplay. It's about the shared stories and friendships that come from them. When I am not running games, I am usually playing video games, rehearsing, or going to the gym.

How Abigail runs games

I’m a newer Dungeon Master, but a lifelong storyteller, and I’m quickly building experience through both home games and community play. I exclusively run D&D 2024 rules, with room for some light homebrew. As a former professional voice actor and musical theatre performer, I bring immersive NPCs and dramatic storytelling to every game. My tables are story-first and player-driven. I love weaving character backstories into the narrative and creating arcs that give everyone a chance to shine. I avoid railroading; instead, I set up situations and let player choices shape the outcome. In combat, I run rules-tight encounters that feel fair and tactical, but I try to make sure even failures matter narratively. Outside combat, I’m flexible. Roleplay and flavor come before rigid mechanics. My games mix serious high-stakes plots with moments of levity, chaos, and humor, keeping players on their toes and never letting things feel too settled.
