About Ceej

Hey my name is Ceej! I’m a Welsh lad who’s been playing tabletop games for over six years, starting out with Pokémon TCG, Warhammer, and Vampire: The Masquerade, and eventually diving into Baldur’s Gate and Dungeons & Dragons. I started GMing in mid-2023, mainly focusing on D&D, though I’d love to branch into other systems like Vampire: The Masquerade as well. I’d describe myself as approachable, curious, and creative. I’m currently writing a dark fantasy novel, I love folklore, spooky stories, and in my spare time I’ll often find myself researching myths, legends, and even exploring ideas around the soul. I’m fascinated by different cultures too. One of my biggest goals is to travel the world and learn as much as I can, then bring that knowledge back into my storytelling. In life, I believe the most valuable lesson is that life is finite and that’s what makes it beautiful. It isn’t beautiful because it stays; it’s beautiful because the ones who observe it find it special, knowing it will one day disappear. That perspective drives a lot of my creativity and how I approach both games and life. On a more casual note. I’m someone who’s always down to share a laugh, talk games whether it’s tabletop or video games. I’m also an aspiring martial artist. I get very nerdy about just about anything from dice rolls to weird bits of folklore. Anything to do with spirits or the soul I’m in!! Whether you’re brand new to tabletop RPGs or a long-time player, I love meeting people from all walks of life and sharing stories together.

I specialize in running dark fantasy campaigns rooted in folklore, spooky storytelling, and immersive roleplay. I take pride in bringing every NPC to life with unique voices, personalities, and quirks, ensuring that interactions feel as real and memorable as the story itself. As a completely homebrewed Dungeon Master, everything at my table is hand-crafted. From the maps and dialogue to the mechanics themselves. My homebrew flair has reshaped core elements of D&D such as travel, combat, moving away from systems that often feel like “math equations” or empty fast travel. Instead, every challenge feels organic, exciting, and true to your story. Beyond the core game, I’ve designed original mechanics for mini-games and side systems, which have become fan-favorites at my table and keep players engaged in unexpected ways. While my campaigns often embrace dark, eerie, and unsettling themes, I always blend in the right touch of comedic relief to keep the balance just right. My goal is always to deliver a story that feels personal, atmospheric, and unforgettable. Where players backstories shape the world around them. A campaign that couldn’t be told at any other table. Whether you’re brand new to D&D or a seasoned veteran, all walks of life are welcome at my table.
