About Milan
Hello there! My name is Milan, but you can call me Kabros. I am a 24-year-old Game Master, and I've been running games for my friends at university for two years. During this time, I’ve run two campaigns and several one-shots, all of which were very well received by my players. My journey began as I believe many others did… We wanted to play, but no one wanted to GM because our current GM was tired. So I was chosen to do it and thrown right in, not knowing what the heck I was supposed to do. To my big surprise, my players not only liked it, but loved it—and when I first heard them burst into laughter as they blasted skeletons with the catapult spell and locked them in their coffins with arcane lock, I knew I was in love with GM-ing. It turned out the players were in love with my game too, and they wanted it to continue. From that point, the one-shot I created grew into an epic campaign where players fought dragon gods, solved mysteries, unraveled plots and schemes, and in the end stopped a civil war that nearly destroyed the kingdom. My world was no longer just mine—because the players shaped it as much as I did, with their decisions and characters that, in the end, became legends of their own for all to remember. So—do you want to write your own legend? Shape the world around you? Untangle mysteries and deadly schemes? Then whether you are a new or experienced player, join me at the table and begin your adventure!

I became a GM because
I love storytelling and exploring new worlds. Storytelling allows me to look at different aspects of the world from many perspectives, to experience it through the eyes of someone else. Combined with my passion for game design, this made GM-ing the perfect fit for me.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Compassionate, creative, helpful
When I'm not running games I'm...
Writing them, fleshing out characters, NPCs, encounters, and so on. But I also enjoy good old video games and movies (preferably fantasy or medieval) to unwind and get some new ideas.
How Milan runs games
The main focus of my games is a player-driven, dynamic story where YOU shape the world around you. During my sessions, it is up to you how you will tell your story. If an evil necromancer is laying siege to a city with his hordes of undead, you can fight him and defeat him, sure, but wouldn’t it be fun if you could join him and experience the story from the dark side? Maybe you will discover that the world is not as black and white as you once thought. Be remembered as noble hero, teryfying villain, or not at all. Now, what about the rules, you ask? I believe fun should always be the main focus of our sessions, and to uphold that belief, I am willing to bend every other aspect of the game, including the rules. You say you want to wrap your morning star around your enemy’s hand, but the rules don’t allow it? Well then, screw the rules, I say you can do it, and you better look cool while doing so. And what about combat? I believe combat is a powerful tool to enhance storytelling and let you tell your tale. Combats in my campaigns aren’t as numerous as in ordinary modules (expect one or two per session), but I always make sure they push the story forward. And your characters? I believe you should have freedom in expressing yourself, whether it is through your character’s skills or backstory. I always do my best to make the world feel real, and one way of doing so is by integrating your backstory into it. Places and people from your past may become important in your future.

I once ran a session...
Where I had players trapped in a city ruled by an evil vampire. I had prepared a series of tasks they had to go through to defeat the creature… However, they decided to use Disguise Self to infiltrate her castle and flood it with holy water. My favorite session so far.
My games focus on...
Player agency, you are the one in charge and you get to decide how you will deal with everything I throw at you. The only thing that limits you is your imagination. Feel free to try new things, explore the world, become whoever you desire.
Rules are...
There to enhance the fun you have at the table. If a rule ever gets in the way of something awesome you want to do, I ignore it. In the end, the most important thing is for you to have fun.
Milan's ideal table
My ideal table consists of 3 to 5 players who are nice to each other and open to roleplay. I strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and safe. It doesn’t matter whether you are new or a veteran.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Story-heavy campaigns with tough and meaningful decisions (style inspired by Dragon Age: Origins).
I love it when a player
Is open to roleplay and doesn’t limit themselves to their character sheet. The more creative you are, the more fun it is for all of us.
My table is not the place for...
Players who have no interest in roleplay and want combat heavy games. My games focus on story, character development and decisions that shape world around you. Combat is included of course but it is not as common (1 maybe 2 combats per session, sometimes not even that)
