About Will

My Name is Will I have been playing TTRPGs for close to 10 years now. both as a player as well as a GM. I started with Pathfinder 1E/ DnD 3.5 then moved over to 5E and is making the transition to 2024. My first time GMing a game was with a very close network of friends, and I have been in love with it since. Homebrewing worlds, running one shots, and long-standing campaign. I love helping new people explore the game as well as seeing what crazy shenanigans experienced players get into. I've had my fair share of power gamers, rules lawyers, chosen ones and edgelords so nothing you bring will surprise me. I absolutely love homebrewing things. One of my GM philosophies is that Dungeons and Dragons itself is just a skeleton. WOTC made a system and said look what you CAN do with this and I've taken that skeleton and created my own living breathing world.

I got started GMing...

With pathfinder 1E in the living room after our previous GM got burnt out and he just wanted to play. I said I would give it a try. My whole level 1-20 campaign they finished in 6 hours. And the rest is history.

Anything geeked. I made it somewhere in 300 range of one piece (I will be king of the pirates). The DCCW universe even though it fell off a little bit. I just finished the imperfects and on my second watch of the umbrella academy

How Will runs games

I love running intrigue and exploration. Combat should be used in high stakes environments that feed the story, not a meat grinder. I love putting hidden messages and secret missions in everything. I can build the story around your character or keep us on a clear and direct path. It all depends on you!

I typically am a really laid back individual. I prefer laid back players. I try to accommodate everyone with their preferred playstyle within reason. I think the players that love asking questions and conspiracy theories would have a good time at my tables
