About Autumn

Hello! My name is Autumn, based up in Glasgow, and I'm a bit of a nerd. I am a big reader and lover of Science fiction and fantasy, who grew up with BBC radio comedies and dramas, and tries to bring that into my games. I'm a stand-up comedian, improviser, actor, and player of Solo-RPGs on a poddcast I produce. In short, I like showing off in nerdy ways. I run weekly Call of Cthulhu games in person at Castle Comics in East Kilbride, and have been for about a year, and before that have run games of DnD and CoC online for 3ish years.

Call of Cthulhu 7e. Yes, the character creation is annoying and, at times, overly mathsy, but the role play that it creates and it's simplicity is simply unparalleled. As a tool for story creation and character work, it's perfect.

How Autumn runs games

I am a big believer that RPGs are best when players embody their characters and react to the bizarre situations they get placed in accordings. Roleplay is a huge play of the games I run and the games I play. Building up high-stakes tension, with mystery elements and a cathartic, solveable ending? I love it.
