I became a GM because
I became a GM because I like doing things my way. I enjoy building adventures, creating memorable characters, and crafting the kind of immersive stories that I want to experience as both a player and a GM.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
WFRP, Paftinder 1e, and D&D 2e :)
When I'm not running games I'm...
Designing games, world building.
How Myt1417 runs games
My games are normally about 50/50 mix of combat and RP. I prepare encounters and story content months in advance. I give my players plenty of room to interact with NPCs and each opther when they want.

I deal with rules issues by making the best ruling I can in the moment to keep the game moving, while being respectful of both the rules and my players. If there's any uncertainty, I'll look up the exact rule after the session and apply it consistently going forward.

Rules are...
Rules are the framework that keeps the grim and perilous world of Warhammer fair and believable. I respect the rules, but when questions arise, I'll make a quick ruling to keep the adventure moving.
Myt1417's ideal table
My table is friendly, respectful, and welcoming to both new and experienced players. I aim for a balance of roleplay, exploration, investigation, and combat, with each session driven by the choices of the characters rather than a predetermined script. Players who enjoy immersing themselves in the world, interacting with NPCs, solving mysteries, and working as a team will fit in well. You don't need to be a voice actor or a Warhammer lore expert—just someone willing to participate, respect the other players, and help tell a great story together.

I think it's a red flag when players consistently disrespect other players, argue every ruling, refuse to work with the group, or use out-of-character knowledge to gain advantages their characters shouldn't have.
I think metagaming...
I think metagaming is best kept to a minimum. Players are encouraged to make decisions based on what their characters know, experience, and believe, rather than information learned outside the game.
My table is not the place for...
As a GM, my table is not a place for harassment, discrimination, bullying, disruptive behavior, or intentionally making other players uncomfortable. Respect for fellow players and the shared story is expected from everyone at the table.
