How Ray Turangan runs games
I love roleplay, i expect my players to roleplay with themselves, and my NPCs, i will enforce backstory, class limitataions and alignments but also be flexible enough to allow creative thinking. Expect strategic and scaling combat with my monsters, I was a manager of a warhammer 40k store in the past and I teach my costumers how to play their army. Expect custom maps, monsters, characters tokens, and some music in my session. After I know how the players' group strategy, I always adjust the challenge. In the end I am a fun focused Game Master, if I see an idea that is fun, I will make it happen.
Featured Prompts
I deal with rules issues by...
rolling a dice, creativity, and logical cause and effect
My games focus on...
Fun and Chaotic results of my player's actions
Rules are...
meant to be broken, DM guide is just a guide, If I found an idea that's cool and entertaining I'll choose it over the rules
Ray Turangan's ideal table
i am comfortable if the table agrees that we are here to have fun, no fights, no ego, leave your personality at the door, we are here to enter as our characters into this magical adventure that is roleplaying.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
solves a challenge using their wits, tools, logic. not brute forcing it
I think metagaming...
isn't just for my table, rules are made by human, and human make mistakes, if the limit of your imagination is bound by numbers and words, then you'll miss all the fun
