About Unicorn
My name’s Unicorn, and I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for about six years now, mostly as a Dungeon Master. I run roleplay-heavy campaigns where character stories take center stage, and I love weaving players’ backstories into the world so everyone feels like their character truly belongs in it. I’m a big believer in the Rule of Cool. If it’s creative, cinematic, or just plain awesome, I’ll find a way to make it happen. My goal is to give everyone their moments to shine and to build something unforgettable together. At my table, collaboration comes first; we’re not just playing a game, we’re co-creating a story full of emotion, adventure, and magic.

I became a GM because
When I first started playing DND at a local game shop after the 2nd monthly meeting to learn to play, the group decided they wanted to play more often. So I, having had 30 minutes of something loosely resembling DND years ago, I was deemed the one with the most experience and therefore the new DM.
How Unicorn runs games
My GM style is high roleplay. There is a good chance you can talk your way out of most combats. I like to reward creativity, especially if you're tactical and plan ahead for an attack. I do like to bring things back; there are consequences for actions, but at the end of the day, as long as everyone is having fun, I keep an easy-going table.

My favorite trope is...
The seven deadly sins. Many of my important recurring NPCs will embody one of them. Beyond that, unicorns and hags are kinda my thing.
Unicorn's ideal table
My ideal table is filled with roleplay-heavy players. The world is made for characters to have a place in it, so my table looks like one where each character has an opportunity to shine, and everyone's unique skills and experiences come together to create something beautiful. Players are respectful and interested in other characters' stories as well as the NPCs. There are so many creative solutions that are made to match equally creative players, so exploring and integrating into he world is encouraged and something I will work with players to achieve.
