About Euan Bell
I am a DND player who has been DM'ing for three and a half years, often running up to three or four tables at any one time. I am a writer, actor, and mainly focus on 5th Edition, but I am willing to expand to 6th or other tabletop games (maybe not Monopoly, but any other!)

I got started GMing...
At geek retreat in town as a burgeoning forever DM. I did my first ever session and still have those players to this day. I ran a campaign centred on an undead army that kills and recruits while warmongers saw a profit in war. then we finished that story and moved onto the next!
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Inventive. Collaborative Clever
When I'm not running games I'm...
writing and thinking of different stories, or procrastinating from doing so
How Euan Bell runs games
You can expect serious as well as comedic tone, with a strong ability to switch depending on the scenario. I am highly capable in roleplay and combat equally, and a wide range of character work and research to accentuate the world-building.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Danny Boyle, a very creative way of balancing the realistic and fantastical elements. Makes me think of one shot in 28 Days Later where the shot looks like it is interspersed with a painting. - From a player that "knows directors"
My games focus on...
You. Character and story, the actual meat on the bone that invests you into another character and their life. I always have a fun mystery and overarching story to sink teeth into.
Rules are...
Anything goes... Within reason of course. but if you want to swing on a chandelier to kick the goblin from the window on your turn? Well it'll be most of your movement and a couple skill checks. Acrobatics or athletics, with performance and depending on those rolls, you may get a hit!
Euan Bell's ideal table
I change and edit the standard rules in DND to try and make the game more interesting to play, and have a strong focus on making sure my games are balanced. Fun, but balanced.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Doctor Who, Inside Number 9, or Merlin
I love it when a player
has ideas in mind with the story, following along and even putting the clues together to try and map out the story or mystery around their character.
I think it's a red flag when players...
Don't tell me something about their backstory that I probably should know. Keeping members of your evil noble family a secret from fellow party members is great, creates conflict to resolve. But keeping it from me, or details that are important, a secret key etc. I should know about it.
