About Stefano
🇬🇧 Hi! I’m Stefano, a storyteller at heart from Italy, born in ’97. I excited to craft memorable worlds, characters, and stories that linger in our minds for years to come is my passion. Storytelling shapes my life—from creative writing to epic Dungeon & Dragons sessions. My games are about more than rolling dice or swinging swords – though that’s always a blast; they’re about touching hearts and creating emotional connections. At my table, we embrace the social contract: we’re here to have fun, respect one another, and share unforgettable moments—Game Master included. If this resonates with you, let’s dive into an adventure where we move and inspire each other! ------- 🇮🇹 Ciao!

I got started GMing...
because I had a story to tell, this is the reason that keeps me behind the GM's screen: I want to tell stories. I want to tell stories that my players can shape with their characters.
How Stefano runs games
🇬🇧 I craft games that strike a balance between immersive role-playing and strategic gameplay. I love diving into heavy role-playing sessions, but ensure they are interwoven with tactical resource management and meaningful encounters. For example, in D&D, I encourage players to think carefully about their resources—like saving that 6th-level spell slot for a climactic moment later in the session. Character deaths in my games are rare but impactful. When they happen, it’s a turning point for the story and the surviving characters, creating dramatic and emotional ripples across the campaign. I also allow PVP at my table, as long as it is plot-driven and respects everyone’s time to shine. Every player deserves moments to explore and showcase their character. Collaboration between players and with the GM is the heart of my campaigns. When planning, I work with players to map out their characters’ growth arcs. How will they evolve over the course of the story? What conflicts will shape their journey? For me, playing a character means growth: let’s think about all the steps your character needs to take to become what you envision them to be, and together we will make them happen. For this reason, a story and every character need a conflict, which can originate from plot hooks or intertwined backstories. If you’re ready for a game where your choices matter, your character grows, and every session brings surprises, my table might be the one for you!

I love it when a player
Improvises, even going against the rules, if the action they are doing is 'cool'.
