hello there! i have been DMing for a bit now and thought that i would give this site a try. i would describe my DMing style as relaxed and chill but i am not afraid to be serious if the game goes that direction. i try to aim for a good mix of combat and roleplaying when hosting a game. more than anything, i let my players tell the story. i am just the narrator that tells the story that the players have made while playing.

I became a GM because

i became DM because after years of playing i thought that it would be interesting to find out what it is like to run a game! the response that i got back from my players in the past has been that they think i am a good DM.

How Darkwater runs games

my GM style is usually relaxed and chill but not afraid to be dark and serious if it is needed or if the game goes that direction. i am also not afraid to bring in casual nudity or sexual content in my games which is why i will have all my games set to 18+ just in case it comes into play. i try to do a good mix of roleplaying and combat but i very much go off of what the players characters are doing and what direction they are going. i am very much driven by what my players do.

for my table, i look for good vibes. i want everybody at the table to have a fun time there. character to character conflict is fine, for some characters that might even help them grow, but i want everybody out of character to get along and have a good time.
