About E.M.
Hi there! Lifelong nerd, fantasy lover, and writer. I’m still relatively new to D&D but I have fully immersed myself in learning the mechanics, stretching my roleplay muscles, and managing groups.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Working my daytime job and chasing my toddler! I’m a creative writer working on my book series which I am hoping will also be a D&D sourcebook someday!
How E.M. runs games
I generally follow rules as written but I’m a huge fan of the rule of cool. I don’t tolerate any disrespect above table and take triggers, concerns, etc very seriously. I like to do regular combat (party vs enemy/ies), competitions, and puzzles. The collaborative storytelling aspect of TTRPG is exactly why I have fallen so in love with it. Let’s write a beautiful, fun, fulfilling, adventurous, devastating, tragic, romantic, emotional story together!

When it comes to voices
I’m not super great with accents and such BUT I’m pretty good with various personalities/demeanors.

I think it's a red flag when players...
think they are the main character. It’s collaborative storytelling! Let all the players involve themselves.
I think metagaming...
Is unacceptable. Know that you and your PC are separate entities! Your PC does not know what you know and you should act accordingly. I would be okay with making a check to see if your PC can figure it out but if it fails, it fails and ya gotta accept it.
I think min/maxing...
Is great! I love a min/maxer and I love when the stats don’t match. I think both can be a lot of fun! The backstory does need to match the stats though.
