About Fe

Hi! I'm Fe (pronounced "Fee") and I'm a mom of 2 and avid Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast from Baltimore, MD. Presently, I work as a graphic designer in the social justice space. As a kid, I grew up reading comics and playing RPGs with my dad, and very quickly became aware of my affinity for the heroic journey. I drew myself into my own comic books and imagined myself as the protagonist in every video game I played or anime I watched. After a lifetime of being told that "being creative is not a job," I studied creative writing in college and then became an graphic artist. Now, as a mother to two young girls, I feel like I've been placed on the wildest heroic journey of them all. It is not lost on me that in my line of work, my motivation is to craft this world so that my kids can embark on their own quests, and in my DMing, my motivation is to craft worlds where my players can see themselves as heroes. If an open-world, sandbox game is your thing, I may not be your DM. If you want a detailed, carefully and thoughtfully-crafted adventure where you can change a world, then I'm your gal!

How Fe runs games

I love a good balance of roleplay and tactical combat. I don't shy away from heavy moments and want to make sure every PC is as emotionally-invested as they are comfortable being. I don't write open-world sandbox adventures. I tend toward stories where my PCs get to be heroes and impact the circumstances of their worlds.

Fe's ideal table

Like i've mentioned already (it's just super important that I make this clear), I don't enjoy writing open-world sandbox adventures. I'm the DM for folks who want to be heroes (or even anti-heroes)— for people who want to fall in love, develop deep connections, and maybe even save the world once or twice.

My table is not the place for...

chaos for the sake of chaos. I'm all for deep RP, but I don't care for people who enter a town and scheme on how to take it over or burn it to the ground because that's how they want to "wreck shop" in that session.
