About daniel wade

Hello I'm a 25 year old woodworker who lives near Atlanta Georgia. I learned about DnD in 2017 ,and instantly fell in love with the idea of telling interesting stories with interesting people. I have been running games for a group of friends for years and I want to run more games. My hopes for this is to bring the joy of story telling and playing games to people who want to help me tell them.

My favorite books are

The Inheritance cycle is the first book series I every read and I will always love it. As of recently I have been reading the Horus heresy series and some of the books in it are very good.

My favorite shows/movies are

Avatar the last Airbender is be far my favorite TV series, Frieren beyond journeys end is also incredible. I have not seen many movies but Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron holds a very special place in my heart, and I also greatly enjoyed good will hunting.

When I'm not running games I'm...

I'm thinking about running them. Mostly a joke, but dnd/ttrpgs do take up a majority of my thoughts. When not doing that I'm either working, playing video games, or with friends playing board games or magic the gathering

How daniel wade runs games

I enjoy both roleplay and high stakes combat. I enjoy building unique combats with interesting mechanics and alternate win conditions than kill the enemy. Roleplay is the part of these games that takes us from playing board games to telling stories. I believe the rules of a game system are there to facilitate are ability to live a story together.
