About Solmaiu

I run games where the world reacts, player choices matter, and the story belongs to the table, not a script. I’ve been running games for 3 years with friends and family, and I’m excited to bring that experience online. I’m a combat veteran, world traveler, and longtime Burner. Presence and trust matter to me. Music culture, creative weirdness, emotional depth, and unconventional solutions are welcome and encouraged. If you like thinking sideways instead of playing it safe, you’ll fit right in. I know D&D 5e well and don’t let rules slow down great moments. I’m comfortable making quick calls so momentum, immersion, and fun stay intact. We can always clarify details after. Story and player experience come first.

How Solmaiu runs games

I love teaching new players and challenging experienced ones. My tables are welcoming, collaborative, and lightly unhinged in the best way. All players, identities, species, and creatures are welcome. Respect is non negotiable. Curiosity is encouraged. My homebrew world, Lumagimaya, is a living persistent setting with 5 continents shaped by strange magic, political tension, and player choice. There are already 20+ active PCs in the world, and what your party does can ripple into other stories. Victories echo. Mistakes leave marks. The world remembers. I don’t run published modules. I build flexible frameworks and let players drive the story. D.I.C.E., the Dragonscale Institution for Combat and Enchantments, is an in world school that helps new players learn naturally while giving veterans space to experiment. If you want strong player agency, meaningful consequences, and a world that grows with you, pull up a chair. We roll dice and see what survives.

Solmaiu's ideal table

My table is collaborative, character driven, and grounded in a living world that reacts to player choices. I run games where the story emerges from what the characters care about, not from railroads or prewritten outcomes. Roleplay matters, consequences matter, and the world remembers what you do. Combat is meaningful and cinematic rather than constant, and when it happens it has weight and stakes. Players who fit best at my table enjoy inhabiting their characters, sharing spotlight, and engaging with the setting and each other. You do not need to be a voice actor or a rules expert, just willing to be present, curious, and respectful. I love players who ask questions, take initiative, and help build the story with me rather than waiting to be led. Newer players are welcome as long as they are engaged and communicative. The vibe at my table is relaxed but intentional. We joke, we laugh, and we keep things human, but we also take the world and the characters seriously. I aim for a space that feels safe, imaginative, and immersive, where emotional moments can land and victories feel earned. If you enjoy story rich play, thoughtful choices, and a table that values connection as much as adventure, you will probably feel at home here.
