About Kyle (Khan)
I am a TTRPG GM/player of over 20 years. I have been Running and playing D&D, Pathfinder, Vampire, GURPS and a multitude of other systems throughout my life. I have a love and appreciation for the what TTRPG games can bring to people. Which can be as a little as a highlight to their week to something long form and you can express yourself through. In recent years I have found myself exploring things beyond the typical D&D campaigns and leaning more into other systems. I have enjoyed systems such as Lancer, ICON, Pathfinder 2e, Brindlewood Bay/The Between, Wickedness, Animon etc. I find myself leaning more into the players' characters (stories and progression) over the systems as of late. I am a LGBTQIA+ friendly DM and I like to have a meet and greet/Session 0 prior to the first session. I have ran pre-written campaigns but like to run campaigns that I can make with the players or we all have a clear idea for. I look forward to playing with any and all players joining me in the adventures to come!

I became a GM because
when I was a kid I always saw GM'ing as a way to connect with my friends and tell a story. I also loved reading the books and building my own worlds to have people enjoy. I also enjoy bouncing off of my player and making them shine when playing.
When I'm not running games I'm...
being a Tattoo Artist. I love doing art, reading, playing video games and watching tv/movies to continue to get inspirations and bring them into the fold that is my nerdy being. I try to bring influences from many different media and mix it into my games.
How Kyle (Khan) runs games
My GM style is an all-arounder style of running games. I love to have a bit of every moment that feels good in these kinds of games. Roleplaying moments, intense combat, painting an image in players minds of a scene are just some of the things I love to do for my players. I also like to highlighting my players preferred styles of playing to fit the game. I like to do voices so expect that from me!

My games focus on...
the connection of the characters and the story. I think that those two things are what drive the games I run. I like to have my combats also have something that drives the story or gives my players something to sink their teeth into.
Rules are...
I like to have a general consensus on what expectations are for playing the games I run. I like to do rule of cool but also do not mind diving deep into the numbers and getting crunchy. I think a general rule for me is if it's aesthetic I'm good with changing it but mechanical we can discuss.
Kyle (Khan)'s ideal table
My ideal table is a group of people that want to have fun! It doesn't matter the setting, genre or overall vibe of the campaign I just want to have a good time and make something memorable with people. I like for my players to all be on the same page of what the goal is of the campaign from the start even if it is open ended. I have ran a many campaigns that have spanned years where we didn't know what the original goal was except to explore the characters and the world, so long as everyone is on the same page and going for the same goal we will have a great time playing together!

I love it when a player
throws me a curveball. I have been playing TTRPG's since I was 10 and running games since I was 14 (I am in my mid-late 30's). It always a joy to have a something that I haven't encountered come up in a game. It's also fun to see new players push boundaries that experienced players don't.
I think it's a red flag when players...
do not respect established boundaries or try to take agency away from another player/character. I establish in a session 0 on expectations of everyone. I try to hold myself to a high standard in order to make sure everyone is comfortable and having fun and I expect the same from players.
I think metagaming...
when it comes to trying to metagame the story and changing how your character would react or push things in a way that isn't conducive to the fun is not great. I do think having an above table player understanding is great and it should inspire ideas in your character but not drive your character.
