because I wanted to tell stories where that felt grand and epic while also letting the players feel like they're all the lead characters in their own stories. After too many games that felt like the GM was just trying to punish the players for having fun. I wanted to create something different.
How G. Jesse Martinez runs games
My Gm style is pretty simple. I want my players to feel like heroes! That means sweeping adventures, big epic battles, and tough narrative choices and lots of storytelling. I love the cheer of a table when the paladin describes how they take down the big bad with a slash of their holy avenger or the rogue clearing a room of guards without a sound.
