About Chaz
HI, I'm Chaz. I've been playing D&D off and on since the 70's, but never as much as I would like. Which brought me to StartPlaying. I've done theatre and improv most of my life and I like to bring that into the game, silly voices, bad jokes and all. I want us all to work together to create a unique story, whether it ends up as an intense dramatic adventure or an episode of Loony Tunes, I'm all in.

How Chaz runs games
While I’ve been a D&D fan since AD&D (Gen X’er), and occasional player, I'm a fairly new DM, having mostly run games for my two boys and I'm looking forward to working with adults. Hopefully I won't have to send THEM to bed after they've killed my magically enhanced Hobgoblin Captain. 😁 I want to create a story together, but mostly I'm looking to have fun. My kids learned a long time ago, they could get away with a lot more stuff at home if they made me laugh, and I kind of DM the same way. Let's absolutely solve the puzzles, track down the hidden treasure, strategize and decimate the Orc horde, but if we want to spend 40 minutes searching the forest for those little blue creatures that I can't mention without violating something and trading recipe's with the gangly wizard hunting them - I’m down! I love doing voices and accents that I may or may not be good at, and I encourage you to do the same, if you are comfortable.
