About Tim
My name is Tim! I run character and improvisational focused one shots and campaigns for all levels of familiarity with TTRPG's. My role as GM is to flesh out your character's unique qualities and story. By providing setting, NPC's, and challenges, I aim to build an environment where the priority is roleplay that is collaborative and rewarding. In college, I studied English Creative Writing and Rhetoric. I currently perform Improv, Poetry, and Standup around Chicago.

How Tim runs games
I aim to suit the needs of my players. I build combat as multi-stage puzzles, utilizing terrain elements, enemy behaviors, and story elements to allow players to creatively and dynamically best their foes. Out of combat, I take in as much as players give to build out the world. I find that player investment comes from engaging with and expanding upon their ideas. I attempt to bring out the unique qualities each player possesses and encourage collaborative, player-lead story telling. Although I do plan out certain characters and story arc's, none is more precious than what occurs over the table. I love homebrewing elements and making each session/campaign unique, allowing the players, and me, to express creativity in unique ways
